I am Todd Schupp, President of Gulf Coast Roofing. My roofing career began in 1979, in my home state of Illinois. I started as an apprentice and made journeyman in 1984. After 15 years working for Kreiling, a large commercial roofing company, I started my own business specializing in residential roofing. Having decided to move to Sarasota, Florida in 2005, I started Gulf Coast Roofing. With nearly 40 years experience in the roofing business, I know what works. Roof was an absolutely mess. GC Roofing replaced with an absolutely top notch product. They resolved issues quickly, and repaired damage to a water line that was accidentally cut, professionally.
I called three different roofing contractors for estimates to install a roof ridge vent.. Two of the companies looked at the project and never got back to me, all were too busy. G.C. Roofing Inc. / Todd Schupp came out and got back to me in a timely manner with the estimate. We signed the contract on June 19th and he ordered the ridge vent . He had his crew to start the work on July 15th and they were done on July 17th. This is with all the rain we had. The two man crew was very efficient removing the old roof cap, cutting the steel roofing and plywood and installing the new ridge vent. They cleaned up all the debris and left our home as if they had not been here. They were very courteous and a pleasure to have work at our home.
I live in Illinois and I needed a roof inspection on my home in Florida. GC Roofing took care of the matter within a day and e-mailed all information to my insurance co. Very helpful!

I have currently started using G.C. Roofing at the recommendation of other realtors. Their pricing is very competitive, their work is thorough and best of all, they take great care in doing those “little extras”. For example, removing pine needles from the existing roof, cleaning mold off brick pavers where the roof was leaking. Those things were above and beyond their duties and I thank them for that!
They were very nice and they did just what needed to be done with enough guys to do the job efficiently, correctly, and extremely clean afterwards. I would highly recommend Gulf Coast Roofing. I just told my neighbors to hire them!!! P.S. and you know you have to live with your neighbors!!!!!!!!
